Stand 14
Archive’s editor (Jim Nagel) and esteemed founding editor (Paul
Beverley) will be on hand, looking forward to two-way conversations with
members. The latest issue of the magazine will be available, along with
CDs and DVDs containing everything back to the first issue in 1987, all
indexed and cross-referenced. The newly printed booklet about using
Virtual Acorn in Windows will also be on sale.

Stand 17
The stall is sponsored by the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club,
with all proceeds going to charities in Yorkshire: primarily the Wakefield
Hospice. Please do help us in this worthwhile cause.
Come and have a browse for a bargain, or donate your unwanted books and
software on the day (we can only accept a limited range of hardware due
to the WEEE regulations).

Stand 5
On the CJE Micro’s & 4D stand we will have a wide range of
bargains and special offers as well as our usual range of all things
RISC OS related. If we haven't got ‘in stock’ at the
show we most likely do back at the shop!

Stand 18
The latest edition (issue 3) of the PDF-based magazine Drag
’n’ Drop will be available for all to view and buy. Back
issues will also be on hand for those requiring them.

Stand 15
Joel will be exhibiting a cornucopia of BBC wizardry for the 21st
century, including new flash-based storage, memory and networking
projects you can use with your old BBC Micro hardware.

Stand 4
MW Software will demonstrate and sell ArtWorks, the
platform’s most powerful graphics illustration package, the
EasiWriter/TechWriter family of structured word processors, the
Gutenprint high quality inkjet printer drivers and the new
PostScript 3 printer driver.

Stand 7
The MathMagical Software Company returns to Wakefield to demonstrate
‘Iconizer’ – a new RISC OS software release.
Iconizer is a powerful tool for discovering and displaying the beautiful
mathematical objects known as “strange attractors”. Already
well known for the colourful ArtGraph software, MathMagical’s new
release is guaranteed to make a visual impression that will amaze and
delight.

The NetSurf project will be showing off their latest developments.

Stand 19
On display will be the latest version of Organizer 2, the
Personal Information Manager for RISC OS.

Stand 20
Orpheus Internet supply internet services for RISC OS and all
other computer systems. We also provide hosting of domains, web sites,
e-mail services. E-mail support is provided for POP, IMAP and webmail
clients.

Stand 12
Finnybank will have current and back issues of Qercus and Acorn
Publisher as usual. In addition we will have real-life examples from our
Meccano series (how to write and illustrate a technical manual).

Stand 10
R-Comp will be showing their range of RISC OS software products,
including latest versions of their highly-praised SafeStore backup
software, NetFetch 3.50 and all the rest. We’ll be showing how
you can use network drives to safeguard all your computers, and manage
everything from your RISC OS machine. Our internet/broadband software
will be on display as usual.

R-Comp Interactive
Stand 10
R-Comp Interactive will have a range of their popular RISCube and
RISCBook systems on display, with new models available. With prices
starting at £499 inclusive of VAT and delivery, you can beat the
credit crunch! As usual, customers are encouraged to order pre-show, for
collection at the exhibition, which will save on delivery fees. We will
have the latest version of UniPrint (v4) available with lots of new
features, and a range of other networking, broadband and storage
products.

Stand 16
Retro Software is both a publishing label and community dedicated to
the development of brand new games for the BBC Micro/Electron and
Archimedes/RISC OS platforms.
We provide information on projects currently in development, a forum
for programmers and gamers alike to gather opinion and ask questions, as
well as a knowledge-base that experts can use to document coding
principles, best practices etc.
At Wakefield 2010, Retro Software will demonstrate the very
latest build of Bomber Blaster – a 5-player arcade game for
RISC OS. So feel free to challenge your friends to a few rounds at
the show!
Also being showcased will be the BBC Micro versions of ZAP! and
The Krystal Connection (both of which will be available to buy) as well
as a preview of the upcoming release REPTON: The Lost Realms – an
abandoned sequel to Repton 3 that has been completed by Retro
Software and is scheduled for release on BBC Micro, Electron and
RISC OS machines later this year.
We would love to see more RISC OS games in development, so if you
think you may be able to contribute in any way, please sign up to the
Retro Software forum and say hi!
Please note, Retro Software is and will always be a non-profit
initiative and all revenue goes towards the cost of materials and
promotion.

Stand 8
We intend to show:
- IYONIX pcs running the latest official and beta RISC OS
versions.
- Beagle Board(s) running RISC OS and applications.
- We will be selling show CDs with the latest releases, sources and other
goodies.
- We will be selling ROOL-branded merchandise, including C/C++ Tools
CDs.
- We may also have a working Touchbook running RISC OS – but
have no idea when it will arrive.

Stand 11
RISCOS Ltd will be showing the latest release of
RISC OS Six, with CDs available for subscribers to the
RISC OS Select Scheme to take away. On display will be
RISC OS Six running on the RiscPC, VRPC Windows and VRPC Mac
versions, along with Vpod and Viewfinder graphics cards.

Stand 9
SoftRock will be demonstrating WebChange, the website
maintainer’s tool.

Stand 2
Steve will be demonstrating a new version of PrintPDF, the freeware
solution for creating fully-featured, platform-independent PDF documents
using GhostScript under RISC OS. CashBook, the comprehensive home
accounts manager, will also be on display – as will his other
utilities, including Float and Locate.
Copies of all the software should be available to take away on CD. All
sales will help raise money for WROCC’s favoured charity, Wakefield
Hospice.

Stuart Tyrrell Developments will be showing a range of their products for
RISC OS computers.

Stand 1
Formed as the Wakefield BBC Micro User Group in April 1983, the
Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club is one of the longest running local
RISC OS user groups in the UK.
Over the years our members have enjoyed a wide variety of talks,
demonstrations and training sessions which have included many well-known
guests from the RISC OS arena. Many new hardware and software
products have been seen in Wakefield prior to their official launch
date.
Membership costs just £6 for the first year, with non-members
paying a fee of £2 per meeting. Members have access to a monthly
newsletter, email discussion forum and a members’ area of the
website with additional meeting resources. Please visit our stand to see
